Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday attended the 43rd India International Trade Fair (PJT2024) Uttarakhand Day celebrations held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also visited the stalls based on various products of Uttarakhand. Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the people of UttarakhandWherever they go, they always keep their culture, folk tradition, food and belonging alive. Appan and Ganga Dussehra are always seen at their houses.
He said that this international fair gives us an opportunity to bring and present our culture, handicrafts and rich heritage on the global stage. The best products of the state have been brought to various stalls at the fair.It has also been decided to form Uttarakhand Pravasi Parishad so that Uttarakhand Pravasi can contribute to the development of the state.
The Chief Minister urged all the migrants to participate in the development of Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has resolved to make the country a developed India by 2047Our country is moving forward rapidly. The country is setting new records with the visionary thinking of the Prime Minister. The country has moved forward rapidly in every field in the last 10 years. Various schemes like Make in India, Startup India have established India as a hub of startups, creating jobs and self-employment in the country. Today, India has become the 5th largest economy in the world.
Uttarakhand CM Pushkar said that Uttarakhand has completed 24 years of its establishment. The state has now entered its silver jubilee. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had described the third decade of the 21st century as the decade of Uttarakhand from the land of Kedarnath.The state government is bringing those words of the Prime Minister to the ground. Our state is moving forward in every field. The construction of Rishikesh Karnaprayag railway line is fulfilling the dream of railway reaching the mountains Under the UDAN scheme, heli services are being launched at various places in the state. Our state is doing historic work in every field like roads, education, health. model colleges are being established along with medical colleges in the state. A satellite center of AIIMS is also being set up in Udham Singh Nagar.
Uttarakhand CM Pushkar said that along with strengthening infrastructure in the state, local industries are also being empowered. It is becoming self-reliant in many fields like agriculture, horticulture, handicrafts.Women of the state are actively participating in making Uttarakhand self-reliant. The women of the state are giving employment to other people along with them. Women are playing an important role in the development of the state. More than 1 lakh women have become Lakhpati Didi in the state. Employment opportunities are being opened in the state through several policiesUnion Minister of State Shri Ajay Tamta said that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is continuously working to fulfill the objective for which the state was created.
He said that through such programmes, the state of Uttarakhand is contributing to the vision of a developed India of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Uttarakhand products are going to the country and abroad today.Our state is continuously moving forward as the new destination. On the occasion of Yoga Day, the Chief Minister has brought Adi Kailash to the whole world by doing yoga at Adi Kailash.
Former Chief Minister Shri Tirath Singh Rawat said that this grand fair is being organized under the leadership of Chief Minister. He said that local products have been promoted here as per the vision of the Prime Minister. Today, the demand for Uttarakhand products is increasing steadily at home and abroad. Secretary Industry Shri Vinay Shankar Pandey informed that local products of Uttarakhand have been sold worth Rs 1 crore 16 lakh in the last 7 days of the India International Trade Fair. With this, orders worth 2 crore have also been received by handicraftsmen. The demand for state products is continuously increasing in the country.
