Uttarakhand News: Early on Sunday morning, a car in the Bageshwar area of Uttarakhand plunged into a river, killing four people—two of them brothers.
Around four in the morning, according to Bageshwar Kotwali Station House Officer (SHO) Kailash Negi, an accident happened on the Rima-Gharamghar motorway close to Chidag.
Uttarakhand News: The car fell about 250 metres down the road into the river, he said.
All occupants of the car were seriously injured in the accident.
Uttarakhand News: They were rescued out of the river by police and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) officials with assistance from the villagers, the officer added. They were taken to a hospital and pronounced dead there.
According to Negi, the victims were identified as 25–30 year olds Kailash Ram, Niraj Kumar, Dipak Arya, and Kamal Prasad.

The SHO said that Niraj and Dipak were brothers.
The victims’ families have been notified.
According to the officer, the victims were locals of Junyal Dofad and Vadyuda Rima.
