Uttarakhand News: Rajkumar Khuggar, a 62-year-old Azad Nagar resident, was at his farm on Monday with his laborers, according to the police, planting paddy.
In the Kichha area of the Udham Singh Nagar district in Uttarakhand on Monday, a 64-year-old woman and a 62-year-old man were electrocuted. According to the police, the event happened when they were in a paddy field and a water motor’s power supply line dropped into the soggy area.
In this occurrence, two persons lost their lives, one of them a woman. Following the post-mortem, the families have received the bodies. The matter is being looked into, according to Kichha’s circle officer, BS Chauhan.

According to Chauhan, Khuggar moved the water motor’s electrical cable to the field’s fence. Khuggar was electrocuted as he picked up the wire, and the line dropped into the paddy field. The woman, identified as 64-year-old Dophariya village resident Jayanti Devi, was electrocuted as well as the paddy field filled with water.
“Other workers switched off their power supply lines and removed the wire and rushed the two to a private hospital where doctors declared them brought dead,” the police officer said.
