The pace of development in Ajmer city has accelerated as Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devanani conducted consecutive monitoring meetings to review key urban projects. During the meetings, approvals were granted to expedite several ongoing plans involving the Ajmer Development Authority (ADA), Municipal Corporation, and other departments.
Key Infrastructure Projects Moving Forward
A high-level discussion at the Ajmer Circuit House included district collector Lok Bandhu, ADA Commissioner Nitya K., and Municipal Commissioner Deshal Dan. Speaker Devanani emphasized that projects should be fast-tracked to ensure visible progress on the ground. Among the key decisions:

Speaker Devanani also instructed the administration to deepen Anasagar and Varun Sagar water bodies by sending excavation proposals to the irrigation department. The beautification and renovation of Varun Sagar and Chaurasiyawas pond, widening of Shastri Nagar road, and drainage improvement DPRs were also discussed to enhance city infrastructure.
Sports and Convention Infrastructure
Following directions in a prior review meeting, ADA has released the tender for the construction of the sports stadium, marking a significant step toward strengthening sports infrastructure in Ajmer.
