Vasudev Devnani: Assembly employee Shri Salim Khan retired, appeals to work to maintain the dignity of the Legislative Assembly
Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani asked the Assembly staff to work to maintain the dignity of the Rajasthan Assembly. He called upon the employees to discharge their duties with loyalty, dedication and punctuality. Shri Devnani said that every employee should have a sense of nation first and strive to do their jobs with excellence.
He was addressing the retirement function of Shri Salim Khan in the Legislative Assembly on Friday. He said that the employees should work honestly to brighten the name of the institution, so that the institution also takes care of their interests.Vasudev Devnani also pointed out that the employees working in the assembly are fortunate, as only a few people get the opportunity to work in this temple of democracy.
At the retirement ceremony, Vasudev Devnani honoured Shri Salim Khan by wearing a safa, draping a shawl and presenting him a memento. He said that every person has some special quality, which should be identified and introspected. From small to big, everyone should be respected and learn from their goodness.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Dharam Pal Gupta, SSP Harjit Singh, Additional DC (general) Roohi Dugg, SDM Sandeep Kumar, Assistant Commissioner Dr. Karamjit Singh, Civil Surgeon Dr. Jugal Kishore, SP Sukhdev Singh, ACS Dr. Jyoti Kaushal, Dr. Parvesh, DSP Rajesh Chhibbar among various others were also present. Retired Shri Khan shared his experiences during his service.
