Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani has provided great relief to women by starting the construction of toilets for them in the busiest markets of Ajmer. He laid the foundation stone of a pink toilet for women in the Chudi Bazaar.This toilet will be built at a cost of Rs 22 lakh. 8 toilets will be built at one place in Chudi Bazaar by February. Similar toilets will be built in Purani Mandi and Diggi Bazaar as well.
Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani on Sunday inaugurated the construction of pink toilets on the municipal corporation land in Chudi Bazaar. On this occasion, Vasudev Devnani said that for a long time women were facing problems due to the lack of toilets in the markets.Due to non-availability of separate toilets for women in Ajmer’s Naya Bazar, Chudi Bazar, Purani Mandi, Madar Gate, Diggi Bazar, Nala Bazar and other such busy marketsThey were facing a lot of problems. To provide relief to the women coming to the market for shopping, instructions were given recently to identify the place and start the construction work.
Vasudev Devnani said that the intention of the state government is that every section of the society should get relief and convenience. For this, it was also announced to build pink toilets in the markets. Under this announcement, the construction work is being started by identifying the locations of pink toilets in Ajmer North Assembly constituency. In the first phase, the construction of pink toilets has been started in Chudi BazaarUnder this, 8 toilets are being built at one place at a cost of Rs 22 lakh. Their construction will provide relief to women coming to Purani Mandi, Chudi and Naya Bazaar. Instructions have been given to complete the construction work by February.
