Vikrant Massey Quits Don 3 Citing Role Concerns, Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra Rumored for Cameos

Actor Vikrant Massey has officially exited the much-anticipated action thriller Don 3, starring Ranveer Singh, reportedly due to dissatisfaction with the lack of depth in his character. Contrary to earlier rumors that he was replaced, sources confirm Vikrant Massey chose to leave the project voluntarily.

Filming for Don 3 is slated to begin early next year, putting the production team on the lookout for a suitable replacement. Two popular actors, Vijay Deverakonda and Aditya Roy Kapur, are currently in consideration to fill the role of a smooth-talking con artist. While neither actor has publicly confirmed involvement yet, insiders are optimistic.

A Bollywood Hungama source praised Vikrant’s talent, saying, “There is no doubt that Vikrant Massey would have been phenomenal. We are confident another actor of his calibre will rise to the challenge.”

Adding to the film’s buzz are rumors of special cameos by Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra, marking a nostalgic nod to the franchise’s earlier chapters. Director Farhan Akhtar, who returns to helm the film, is currently scouting locations in London to enhance the movie’s scale and aesthetics.

With Ranveer Singh stepping into Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic role, anticipation is high to see how Don 3 blends legacy and fresh energy. Fans await official announcements on the cast and storyline as excitement builds around the franchise reboot.
