Chandigarh review meeting on ‘War Against Drugs’ campaign focuses on strengthening anti-drug drive in Punjab under Aman Arora’s leadership.
A high-level review meeting was held in Chandigarh with zonal coordinators, district coordinators, and senior officials of Punjab to enhance the effectiveness of the ongoing ‘War Against Drugs’ campaign across the state.

Punjab Cabinet Minister Aman Arora, while reviewing the War Against Drugs campaign, reiterated that the state government is committed to a zero-tolerance policy against drugs. He stated that eliminating the drug menace from its roots remains one of the government’s top priorities.
He further stressed that the War Against Drugs campaign should not remain limited to administrative efforts but must evolve into a mass movement with active public participation. Officials were directed to intensify awareness programs, especially among youth, and strengthen action in vulnerable regions.
The government is continuously working on multi-layered strategies to dismantle drug supply networks and rehabilitate affected individuals. Coordination between departments has been identified as a key factor in ensuring the success of the campaign.
