Nora Fatehi’s new song “Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke” from the Kannada pan-India film KD The Devil has gone viral for its double-meaning and explicit lyrics.
Singer and musician Armaan Malik expressed shock over the lyrics, saying he had to replay the song twice to believe what he was hearing.
Armaan commented on X (Twitter), “Sad to see commercial songwriting hit a new low,” criticizing the vulgar nature of the lyrics.
Fans online questioned how the Censor Board allowed the song, calling it full of sexual innuendos and inappropriate for public release.
The track features Nora Fatehi dancing in a bar setting alongside dozens of backup dancers, adding to the song’s bold and controversial appeal.
The lyrics were penned by Raqeeb Alam, composed by Arjun Janya, and vocals were provided by singer Mangli.
Many viewers criticized the song for objectifying women and called it disgraceful, stating that the song crosses all limits of decency.
KD The Devil is a 2026 Kannada action-crime film starring Dhruva Sarja, Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty, and Reeshma Nanaiah, releasing on April 30, and is set in the 1970s underworld of petty criminal Kaali.
