Sara Arjun Breaks Silence on Ranveer Singh Age-Gap Controversy in Dhurandhar
Sara Arjun and Ranveer Singh’s nearly 20-year age difference in Dhurandhar caused a major discussion on social media after the first-look teaser release.
The young actress revealed she was mostly unaware of the controversy and didn’t let online opinions affect her.
Sara said, “Everybody has an opinion. I really believe in ‘live and let live’… it doesn’t change how I think about the story.”
She consciously stays away from negativity online and isn’t very active on social media, especially during the pre-release phase.
Sara shared that her boarding school didn’t allow devices, and her busy schedule prevented her from developing social media habits.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling and other activities instead of spending hours on screens.
Sara plays Yalina Jamali, the daughter of a Pakistani politician, whose character gets romantically involved with Ranveer Singh’s character, fueling the age-gap debate.
Despite the controversy, the film became a blockbuster, grossing ₹1283.5 crore worldwide by Day 45, making it the biggest Indian film of 2025.
