Vishal Pandey, the social media sensation and current Bigg Boss OTT 3 contestant, has finally broken his silence on the trolling he faced after making his Cannes Film Festival debut earlier this year. In a recent candid interview, Vishal Pandey shared how deeply the trolling affected him and pointed out the harsh double standards that come with fame — especially for outsiders in the industry.
“No one questioned what Shalini Passi was doing at Cannes,” Vishal said. “She did 10 looks — I loved it — but no one questioned that. Why? Because she comes from a place of privilege.”
“I Worked My A** Off for This”
Vishal detailed his journey to the red carpet, revealing that his appearance at Cannes was not just for show, but tied to his work in the international film Far Away From Home.
“I worked my a** off for 6–7 years, went through seven rounds of auditions to get that film — and then represented it at Cannes,” he said. “Still, I got trolled.”
The statement quickly resonated with fans, many of whom rallied behind him, defending his achievements and slamming the unfair criticism he faced.
