Security Breach at Aditya Roy Kapur’s Mumbai Home, Female Intruder Arrested

Mumbai, May 27, 2025 — In a startling incident, a woman reportedly breached security at Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur’s residence in Bandra West, Mumbai. The female intruder, identified as 47-year-old Ghazala Kariya, was arrested by the police shortly after entering the actor’s home under false pretenses.

According to sources, Ghazala, who hails from Dubai, gained access to the Rizvi Complex where Aditya lives by posing as a delivery agent. She claimed to have brought clothes and presents for the actor, which convinced the domestic helper, Sangita Pawar, to allow her inside the apartment. At the time of the incident on May 26th, Aditya Roy Kapur was away on a shoot, and Sangita was alone at home.

When the actor returned, he reportedly did not recognize the woman. Things escalated when she attempted to approach him, prompting Aditya Roy Kapur to leave the premises and immediately alert the building’s society manager, Jayashree Dunkdu. The manager then contacted Aditya’s personal manager, Shruti Rao, who rushed to the scene and notified the Khar police.

An FIR has been filed against Ghazala under Section 331(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, covering house trespassing and housebreaking offenses. The police have taken her into custody for further investigation.

This incident comes just days after two individuals reportedly entered Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence, raising concerns about security lapses at the homes of high-profile celebrities in the city.

Aditya Roy Kapur, known for his roles in films like Aashiqui 2, was reportedly unharmed in the incident but remains cautious following the breach.
