Yogi Adityanath directs DMs and SPs to monitor every minor incident, respond promptly to grievances and ensure time-bound action across Uttar Pradesh.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed district magistrates (DMs) and police chiefs to maintain close watch over even minor incidents and ensure timely intervention to prevent them from escalating. The instructions were issued during a Janata Darshan at his official residence in Lucknow on Monday, September 21.

During the interaction, Yogi Adityanath met residents who had arrived from different districts to present their grievances. After reviewing their applications, he instructed senior administrative and police officials to respond quickly whenever a local incident is reported.

According to the directions issued by Yogi Adityanath, DMs and SPs should personally monitor small incidents in their respective districts. Senior officials have also been asked to reach the location without delay, listen to affected people and take action against those found responsible under the law.

Focus on Preventing Minor Disputes From Escalating

The chief minister said that some individuals seeking to create social discord may attempt to turn relatively minor incidents into larger disputes. He therefore stressed the need for prompt administrative and police intervention.

Yogi Adityanath also made it clear that negligence or an indifferent approach toward minor incidents would not be accepted. The objective, according to his instructions, is to address grievances at the local level and prevent disputes from becoming more serious.

Time-Bound Resolution of Public Complaints

At the Janata Darshan, people raised issues connected with administration, police, revenue, electricity and other government departments. The chief minister directed officials to ensure that such complaints are resolved within a defined timeframe.

The administration was also instructed to deal with genuine grievances without discrimination. Officials were asked to work with sensitivity while handling public complaints and ensure that eligible people receive the benefits available under government welfare schemes.

Instructions on Healthcare and Land-Related Complaints

Yogi Adityanath further directed officials to make necessary arrangements for patients requiring treatment. He also instructed authorities to take strict action against land mafias and influential individuals found involved in wrongdoing.

The latest directions underline the administration’s focus on quicker grievance redressal, closer monitoring of local incidents and prompt action by senior officials.

For district-level officials, the message from Yogi Adityanath was to remain attentive to local developments, respond quickly to complaints and ensure that matters are handled according to the law before they escalate.
