CM Yogi Adityanath launched ₹620 crore projects in Saharanpur and criticized the opposition over the Ram Temple controversy and development issues.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday launched and inaugurated development projects worth more than ₹620 crore in Saharanpur while strongly criticizing opposition parties over the ongoing Ram Temple donation controversy. The Chief Minister accused political rivals of attempting to mislead the public and undermine religious sentiments for political gains.
Addressing a public gathering, Yogi Adityanath said that the same groups that once opposed the Ram Janmabhoomi movement are now spreading misinformation regarding issues linked to the Ram Temple. He alleged that these political forces had historically resisted major religious and cultural projects, including the redevelopment of Kashi Vishwanath Dham and various initiatives in Mathura and Vrindavan.
Opposition Accused of Misleading People
The Chief Minister claimed that those who previously took action against people chanting religious slogans are now portraying themselves as defenders of faith. He emphasized that his government remains committed to protecting religious beliefs and would not allow anyone to disrespect or interfere with them.
Yogi said attempts are being made to create confusion among devotees regarding Ayodhya and the Ram Temple. According to him, the truth is evident in the overwhelming support and participation of millions of devotees who have consistently shown faith in the temple movement.
