Held on all working days from 10 AM to 12 Noon, the camps are staffed with officers from various departments to ensure instant solutions. He also called for wide public awareness through the Information and Public Relations Department to maximize participation.
Focus on Reducing Complaint Backlog
Taking serious note of districts with high complaint pendency, CM Nayab Singh Saini instructed DCs to personally review unresolved cases weekly with relevant department officials. For issues involving policy decisions, he directed they be escalated to the Chief Secretary’s Office. Emphasizing improved service delivery, he said the goal is to eliminate the need for citizens to make repeated visits to government offices.
Accountability for Repeated Complaints
He added that SDMs and concerned officials must ensure resolution during the first visit, and repeat visits by complainants will result in accountability for officers. CM Nayab Singh Saini reiterated that Shivirs should also be consistently held at sub-divisional levels with active departmental participation.
CM Personally Addresses Public Issues
During the session, CM Nayab Singh Saini interacted with individuals attending the Samadhan Shivirs. In Rohtak, a woman raised a concern about a private school charging illegal admission fees under Section 134-A. The CM instructed the DC to investigate and ensure no such practices continue.
