Chhattisgarh NEWS : Governor Ramen Deka paid floral tributes to Bharat Ratna and architect of Indian Constitution Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar on his birth anniversary at Raj Bhavan today. Officers and staff of the Raj Bhavan were also present on the occasion.
Governor Deka said that Babasaheb’s life was full of struggle. He fought against social discrimination, untouchability and inequality throughout his life. He considered education as the most powerful medium of social change and himself became an example of it. Even in difficult circumstances, he received many titles and performed his role as the first Law Minister of the country.
Governor Deka said that Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar always strived to build a just and egalitarian society. He played an important role in empowering the oppressed, oppressed and weaker sections of the society. Today, when we are remembering Babasaheb, it is necessary that we do not do mere formalities, but put his thoughts into practice. The principles of equality, fraternity and justice have to be established at every level of our society. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Ramvir, SDM Sangrur Yashpal Sharma, Assistant Commissioner (UT) Devdarshdeep Singh, EO Ramesh Kumar, all local Congress leaders, and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
