CM Yogi Adityanath paid tributes to Baba Saheb and felicitated the alumni of the university and NCC cadets.He said that Babasaheb’s life was full of struggles but he made his mark through education and laid the foundation of the Constitution for the country.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that due to Babasaheb, every citizen of India got equal voting rights, which happened before many countries of the world.Baba Saheb proved that education is the root of social development.He also became the country’s first PhD economist and gave direction to India by framing the Constitution.
Describing 2025 as the Amrit Mahotsav of the promulgation of the Constitution, he said that today India is realising the concept of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.” Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the development of Baba Saheb’s Panchteerths has taken place, which is inspiring the new generation.
CM Yogi Adityanath also informed that priority is being given to education and development while taking forward the ideas of Babasaheb.He proudly said that India today has become the fifth largest economy in the world, and it has overtaken the UK.
He informed that the Prayagraj Kumbh of 2019 was given a new identity in the world by making it a successful event. The Mahakumbh of 2025 has become a global event with participation of more than 100 countries and arrival of 66 crore devotees. In this, people of every class, creed and caste were seen bathing together, which is an example of social harmony.
Yogi Adityanath also mentioned the development schemes of the state – such as Jan Dhan Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Ujjwala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and Swamitva Yojana, which benefited crores of poor.He said that these schemes were made available to all equally without any discrimination, which is the India of Babasaheb’s dreams.
He also highlighted the achievements of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, which has led to the control of diseases like encephalitis in Uttar Pradesh. He said that today the One District, One Product (ODOP) scheme is going on to promote the speciality of every district of the state, due to which lakhs of people have got employment.
The Chief Minister said that through the Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan, the youth are being encouraged towards entrepreneurship by giving them capital and training. Under this scheme, loans up to Rs 5 lakh are given without guarantee.
In conclusion, he said that today Uttar Pradesh has become the most preferred state for investment. Law and order is strong here, policies are clear and single window system is working for investors.
