RAJASTHAN NEWS : Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, Dr.Ashish Kumar Bhutani and Joint Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation, Shri Siddharth Jain visited the National Cooperative Spices Fair being organised by the Department of Cooperation and Rajasthan State Cooperative Consumers Federation (CONFED) at Jawahar Kala Kendra on Friday. He inspected the stalls set up in the fair and took information about the spices and other products brought for sale by the cooperative societies of the country and the state. Principal Secretary Cooperation and Registrar Cooperative Societies Manju Rajpal was also present on the occasion.
Dr. Bhutani and Mr. Jain appreciated the Department of Cooperation and CONFED for organising National level Spices Fair continuously since 2003. Smt. Rajpal apprised them that this time Masala Mela has been organised on the theme of International Year of Cooperatives. In the fair, spices and other products of cooperative institutions of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Punjab etc. have been made available for sale at 145 stalls. Visitors are getting pure and quality products at reasonable prices under one roof in the fair.
Smt. Rajpal informed that to promote the products of Shree Anna, these products have been displayed in about 25 stalls in the fair, which are showing a special inclination towards the people. He said that by organising the fair, the confidence of the people in the cooperative products is increasing and the cooperative societies are also getting a proper platform to sell their products.
Dr. Bhutani and Mr. Jain also presented gift hampers to three winners of Daily Lucky Draw on the occasion.
