CM launches e-RUPI system and four new agricultural policies to be ready soon Flower and Honey Policy of the State CM Pushkar Singh Dhami launched the e-RUPI system based on modern technology at the Secretariat on Saturday. On the occasion, he launched four ambitious agricultural policies (Kiwi policy, Dragon fruit, apple plucking after plucking scheme and millet mission) to give a new direction to the agricultural system of the state.
Addressing the event, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the ERUPI system is a new initiative for the annadatas of the state. “eRUPI system” will be a new medium of transparent, fast and middleman-free digital payment for farmers. Under this system, the subsidy amount received by the farmers in the pilot projects will be sent directly to their mobiles through e-vouchers (eDAY or Phat Bakam), which they will be able to use to purchase fertilisers, seeds, medicines, etc. from the authorised centres or vendors. The Chief Minister directed the officials to conduct training programmes in villages to sensitise the farmers so that they could take full advantage of this technology. All these initiatives are aimed at strengthening agriculture and employment in the hilly and plain areas of the state, so that the problem of migration can also be effectively controlled.
These schemes will prove to be a milestone in the direction of making Uttarakhand a self-reliant, empowered and leading agricultural state. Launching the four new agricultural policies, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that all these schemes will boost the agricultural diversity of the state and will become the basis for increasing the income of the farmers. Speaking on the occasion, Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi said that in order to boost apple production, a target has been set for intensive horticulture in 5,000 hectares by 203031. A scheme of Rs. 144.55 crore has been launched for apple storage and grading, in which CA storage and sorting grading units will be given subsidy up to 5070: Agriculture Minister Joshi said that under the Millet Policy, ₹134.893 crore has been launched to cover 70,000 hectares area by 203031. In this, farmers will also be given incentives on seed sowing and purchase of produce. At the same time, these policies will strengthen the economy of the farmers of the state and the products of Uttarakhand will get recognition at the national level.

Incentive of Rs. 4000 per hectare for row sowing and Rs. 2000 per hectare for other methods. An additional incentive of Rs 300 per quintal on procurement will be given to farmers.
