CM Bhajan Lal Sharma on Monday inspected the reconstruction works of Rajasthan House at Prithviraj Road, New Delhi. Shri Sharma directed the officers to expedite the works and complete them within the stipulated time frame. He said that the reconstruction work should be completed by strictly adhering to the safety standards.
During the inspection, the officials informed CM Bhajan Lal Sharma that the reconstruction works of Rajasthan House are being completed on priority. With the completion of the civil works of the underground water tank and sewerage treatment plant in the lower basement, about 70 per cent of the construction work of the structure of the upper part of the house has been completed.
The renovation work of Rajasthan House in New Delhi is underway. In this work, the artistic architectural style of Rajasthan will be beautifully coordinated. Dholpur Sand Stone work will be done on the outer wall of the building. The new Rajasthan House has provision for two basements, ground floor and 6 floors. In the basement of the building, parking and in the main building, lobby, cafeteria, waiting area, dining area, fountain, hanging chandelier, atrium etc. will be built. On the first floor, there will be a conference hall, library and gym, and on the roof terrace garden, party hall, yoga room etc.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma visits Sri Batuk Bhairav Temple
Earlier, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma paid obeisance at Shri Batuk Bhairav Mandir run by Devasthan Department at Janpath Lane. He prayed for the prosperity and well-being of the people of the state.
