Under the leadership of CM Bhajan Lal Sharma, the State Government is committed to strengthen the industrial and energy sector. Important decisions are being taken continuously to improve the quality of power supply along with increasing local employment through industrial investment.
In another important decision, the Chief Minister has approved the allotment of more than 106 hectares of land in village Kanaikalan in Bhinai tehsil of Ajmer for the establishment of a new industrial area. The land has been allotted to Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Appropriation Corporation Limited (RIICO) under Section 92 of the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956 for setting up of non-polluting industrial units. This will generate employment at the local level and give impetus to industrial development.
Land finally sanctioned for 765 KV GSS
In another decision, Chief Minister Sharma has approved the land allotment proposal for 765 KV GSS at Gramme Sorsan in Anta Tehsil of Baran district. Under this, 39.17 hectares of land has been allotted to Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited at cost price. With its installation, the power supply system will become more robust and quality assured.
