Taking a major step toward improving Haryana’s road infrastructure, CM Nayab Singh Saini has instructed officials to give top priority to strengthening inter-state roads, ensuring all entry routes into Haryana are in excellent condition to facilitate smooth and hassle-free travel for commuters.
Chairing a high-level review meeting focused on road repair and renovation projects across the state, the Chief Minister directed concerned departments to complete all road development works within set timelines, stressing that any compromise on quality standards will not be tolerated.
During the meeting, CM Saini also assessed the progress of a mobile application being developed to help make Haryana’s roads pothole-free. He directed all departments to ensure 100% mapping of their respective roads and upload the relevant data to the app without delay.
He further emphasized that the app should be user-friendly, allowing the general public to easily report potholes or damaged roads, thereby enabling quick response and improved road maintenance across the state.
Senior officials present at the meeting included Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Rastogi, Principal Secretary to CM Sh. Arun Kumar Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary PWD Sh.
