Guns N’ Roses Concert Gets a Splash of Nostalgia with Dolphin-Clad Fans
Guns N’ Roses concerts are known for their wild energy, but fans at a recent show in Germany took things to the next level — with two concertgoers dressed as dolphins in a hilarious tribute to one of the band’s most iconic music videos.

During a performance of “Estranged,” two fans at the front rail showed up wearing full dolphin headgear while holding up a replica of Axl Rose’s signature AXL Converse sneakers. It was a clever, live-action reference to the surreal dolphin scene from the Guns N’ Roses Use Your Illusion era video.
Frontman Axl Rose spotted the tribute mid-song and was so amused, he pointed the fans out to fellow bandmates Slash and Duff McKagan, sharing a laugh on stage during the emotional track.
An Iconic Throwback
The moment was not only a crowd favorite but also a heartwarming callback to the band’s legendary early-’90s music video trilogy — “Don’t Cry,” “November Rain,” and “Estranged” — known for their cinematic ambition and emotional storytelling.
