CM Nayab Singh Saini said that Manisha is like a daughter not only to him but to the entire family, and it is the government’s duty to secure justice for her and her loved ones. He stated that the police are carrying out a fair and thorough probe, and once the investigation concludes, strict action will be taken against all those found guilty. He assured that no culprit will be spared and mentioned that he is personally monitoring the case with constant updates from the police, while multiple suspects are being interrogated.
Speaking to the media at Thanesar Anaaj Mandi on Sunday, CM Nayab Singh Saini took a dig at the Congress party, saying its leaders have lost their mental balance. He pointed out that in the past 55 years, the country failed to progress as it should have under Congress rule, as the party only relied on false promises to secure votes. According to him, people are now fully aware of Congress’s policies and the allegations its leaders face. He lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for enhancing India’s global reputation.
The Chief Minister accused Congress of insulting vital institutions such as the President, Vice President, Lok Sabha, and even the judiciary.
On Rahul Gandhi’s visit, he recalled that his previous tour had no effect and said they will wait to see the outcome this time. Responding to allegations about Deepender Hooda meeting the Election Commission, Saini countered that if the EC was really under influence, Deepender Hooda could not have won. He declared that Congress has been reduced to nothing and predicted its defeat even in Bihar.
Highlighting development under PM Modi, Saini said that in the past 11 years, India has witnessed a new path of growth and progress. He expressed gratitude for key projects in Haryana, including the National Expressway linking the airport with Sonipat and Bahadurgarh, which has significantly cut down travel time to the airport.
