Chalo Jeete Hain’ Depicts Childhood of PM Shri Narendra Modi : CM Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Chalo Jeete Hain beautifully bridges the past and the present, offering an inspiring portrayal of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s childhood. He described the 30-minute short film as a remarkable experiment that encapsulates the essence of its story within a limited timeframe.
CM Dr. Mohan Yadav expressed these views while interacting with the media after attending the screening of the film at Cinepolis, Bansal Plaza, Bhopal, on Thursday. He wholeheartedly praised the film. Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang, Minister of State for OBC Welfare Smt. Krishna Gaur, MLAs Shri Rameshwar Sharma, Shri Bhagwandas Sabnani and former minister Smt. Archana Chitnis and a large number of viewers were present.
The Chief Minister Mohan Yadav informed that as part of the ‘Seva Pakhwada’, Chalo Jeete Hain will be screened across Madhya Pradesh from September 18 to 24 to mark the birthday of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He called the initiative to screen a film focused on PM Modi’s childhood and values a commendable effort.
CM Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the film reflects both the glory and humility of the Prime Minister, who celebrated his 75th birthday on September 17 in the tribal-dominated Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh. The message “Chalo Jeete Hain” captures Shri Modi’s spirit of overcoming hardships with determination. “When a diamond emerges from a coal mine, the mine becomes blessed. He remarked that Shri Modi, who once supported his fellow students during personal struggles, today leads the world’s largest democracy. Extending his wishes for the Prime Minister’s long and healthy life, CM Dr. Yadav said that Shri Modi has set the goal of making India a developed nation by 2047, with India poised to become a global leader.

Highlighting the uniqueness of the short film, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav said that, unlike today’s big-budget films made with advanced technology, Chalo Jeete Hain demonstrates how a powerful story can be told within a short span without intermission, relying on strong willpower and simple resources. The film, he noted, ties together past and present while shedding light on Shri Modi’s values. He congratulated the filmmakers for their effort and urged every citizen to watch the film.
Chalo Jeete Hain, first released in 2018, is inspired by the childhood of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Directed by Shri Mahaveer Jain and produced by Shri Bhushan Kumar and Shri Mahaveer Jain, the short film highlights service and patriotism as the highest duties of life.
Featuring mostly new artists instead of big stars, the film stars Samarth Shukla as young Narendra (Modi), along with Rahul Patel, Aarohi Rai, and Aditya in key roles. Emphasising message and inspiration over star cast, the film has been re-released after six years.
