Sources confirm that the actor is taking a short break as a precaution but is expected to return to filming within a few days. No other cast or crew members were injured during the stunt. Production has been suspended as a safety measure, with a meeting scheduled to adjust the shooting schedule accordingly.
Despite the mishap, Holland appeared at a charity event over the weekend alongside his co-star and fiancée Zendaya, indicating that his recovery is progressing well.
Tom Holland had previously expressed his excitement about shooting in real locations, noting that filming on the streets of Glasgow would give the project an old-school filmmaking vibe reminiscent of the first Spider-Man film in 2017. “It’s been such a long time since I’ve done it, it’s gonna feel like a breath of fresh air, and I think the fans are going to be over the moon with what we’re putting together,” he said.
