Rajeevika:- Design-Based Interventions to Give New Dimensions to Rural Livelihoods under the “Unnati Incubation Hub” Initiative
With the objective of empowering rural livelihoods in Rajasthan through design-based interventions and skill development, Rajasthan Grameen Ajeevika Vikas Parishad (Rajeevika) signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ARCH College of Design & Business. This collaboration has been formalized under Rajeevika’s new initiative — the “Unnati Incubation Hub.”
The MoU signing ceremony was held at Rajeevika’s State Office in Jaipur. The agreement was formally signed by Mrs. Neha Giri, State Mission Director, Rajeevika, and Mrs. Archana Surana, Director, ARCH College of Design & Business. The event was graced by Mrs. Shreya Guha, Additional Chief Secretary, Rural Development Department; Mrs. Preeti Singh, Project Director (Administration), Rajeevika; and other senior officials.

The collaboration aims to strengthen product design, development, and market readiness for rural artisans and women members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) across Rajasthan. Under this partnership, both institutions will work jointly in areas such as research, design conceptualization, prototype development, branding, and capacity building, thereby fostering sustainable livelihoods and empowering rural women artisans.
This MoU marks a significant step in integrating creative design thinking with grassroots entrepreneurship, reflecting Rajeevika’s commitment to fostering innovation, skill enhancement, and economic empowerment within rural communities.
