Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra and AAP leader Raghav Chadha, who welcomed their baby boy on October 19, have finally revealed their newborn’s name — Neer. The couple announced the name through a heartwarming Instagram post, featuring an adorable picture of their little one’s feet.

Parineeti Chopra captioned the post with a poetic note: “Jalasya rūpam, premasya svarūpam — tatra eva Neer. Our hearts found peace in an eternal drop of life. We named him ‘Neer’ — pure, divine, limitless.”

The name Neer, meaning water, purity, and life, reflects the couple’s emotional and spiritual connection with their first-born.

A New Beginning for Parineeti and Raghav

Parineeti Chopra and Raghav have been enjoying their journey into parenthood. When their baby boy arrived, the couple shared a joint statement saying: “He’s finally here! Our baby boy. And we literally can’t remember life before! Arms full, our hearts are fuller. First we had each other, now we have everything.”

Their love story has captivated fans ever since their engagement in May 2023 at New Delhi’s Kapurthala House, followed by their grand wedding in Udaipur’s Leela Palace in September 2023.

Earlier this year, Raghav had hinted at wanting to expand their family during an appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show. By August, the couple officially confirmed Parineeti’s pregnancy on social media.

Parineeti has also been candid and humorous about her motherhood journey. She recently reshared a famous meme from Andaz Apna Apna, describing her mixed emotions of joy and exhaustion: “Me, realising that I am a full-fledged mother now and not just pregnant anymore.”
