Delhi CM Rekha Gupta visited the famous Shri Salasar Balaji temple in Churu, Rajasthan, on Saturday to offer prayers and seek blessings. The temple, dedicated to Lord Hanuman, is a major pilgrimage site attracting devotees from across India. During her visit, CM Rekha Gupta performed rituals and interacted with temple authorities and devotees while strict security arrangements were in place.
Earlier, on Thursday, CM Rekha Gupta inaugurated new electric buses and launched an interstate bus service connecting Delhi and Dharuhera from the Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT) in Delhi. She emphasized that the new electric buses are a significant step toward reducing pollution and improving sustainable urban transport.

The CM Rekha Gupta also announced the revival of the university bus service, which had been discontinued by the previous administration. Additionally, she highlighted plans for new automatic vehicle testing centres in Nand Nagri, Tehkhand, and Burari to ensure vehicles comply with pollution norms.
CM Rekha Gupta further introduced a new “Pink Card” system to allow women to travel free on public transport, reflecting the government’s focus on accessibility and safety. Her initiatives underscore the administration’s commitment to enhancing connectivity, promoting eco-friendly transport, and improving public services in Delhi.
