The struggle for workers’ rights at Nitrax Chemical India Ltd in Jhagadia GIDC continues as Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Chaitar Vasava sits on a protest for the second consecutive day. The MLA has vowed to support the workers until their demands are fully met.

Speaking to the media, Vasava emphasized that the workers have not received several essential benefits, and the company has violated multiple labor laws. MLA Chaitar Vasava highlighted that employees who have served the company for over three years must be made permanent staff members. Additional demands include payment of overtime at double the rate, medical claim settlements, issuance of payment slips, and regular increments.
