During the interaction, Kejriwal emphasized that AAP grants election tickets purely based on performance and public service. “In our party, tickets are awarded only on the basis of work. Only those who have earned the trust and appreciation of the public will be considered for nominations,” he said.
Kejriwal added that this year’s elections were conducted in a clean and transparent manner, with AAP securing 38% of the votes in Punjab. He praised the people for recognizing the government’s efforts, stating, “The public has endorsed the work of the Bhagwant Mann-led government, appreciating its honesty and integrity.”
Chief Minister Mann, who accompanied Kejriwal, reiterated the party’s dedication to accountable governance. “Previous governments drained Punjab’s treasury, but we have ensured responsible spending and prioritizing public welfare,” he said. The CM also underlined the importance of transparent administration and efficiency in delivering public services.
The Ludhiana visit marks another step in AAP’s efforts to strengthen its grassroots engagement and reinforce the principle that political rewards and nominations are earned through consistent work and dedication to the people.
