UP CM Yogi Adityanath launches OTS-2026 to resolve pending housing cases with a transparent, citizen-friendly, and online settlement scheme.
OTS-2026: In a major initiative aimed at resolving pending housing matters, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the state government to implement a new “One-Time Settlement (OTS-2026)” scheme. The move seeks to provide a fair, transparent, and user-friendly solution for pending residential and commercial allotments across the state.
During a meeting with the Housing and Urban Planning Department on Wednesday, CM Yogi highlighted the challenges caused by long-standing dues and disputed cases. He emphasized that such delays not only affect the progress of housing projects but also create unnecessary difficulties for citizens. The Chief Minister stressed that the new system should be practical, efficient, and accessible to all genuine allottees.
Focus on Transparent and Citizen-Friendly Process
CM Yogi pointed out that pending payments and unresolved allotments slow down the development pace of the state. He instructed the housing department to ensure that the OTS-2026 scheme provides clear and simple options for citizens while also generating the required revenue for the government. He cited the previous OTS-2020 scheme, which resolved a significant number of cases, though some allottees could not complete payments due to COVID-19 disruptions.
Key Features of OTS-2026
One-time payment option with applicable discounts on dues.
Installment facility for those unable to pay in a lump sum.
Transparent and timely resolution of each application within the prescribed timeframe.
Fully online, user-friendly process for hassle-free participation.
CM Yogi said the scheme is designed to provide relief to thousands of allottees while ensuring revenue for the department. He also instructed officials to widely publicize the scheme so that maximum beneficiaries can take advantage of it.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the essence of OTS-2026 is citizen-centric, ensuring that genuine applicants benefit from a fair and speedy resolution of pending housing matters.
With the launch of OTS-2026, Uttar Pradesh aims to streamline housing allotments, reduce pending disputes, and provide a transparent framework for residents and businesses across the state.
