The India AI Impact Summit 2026, held in the national capital, provided a significant boost to bilateral relations between India and the United Arab Emirates. During the summit, UAE Crown Prince Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss strategic cooperation in artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced technologies.
The meeting, confirmed by the Ministry of External Affairs, highlighted the commitment of both nations to expand collaboration in AI-driven solutions and innovation. “India and the UAE are trusted partners, working together to leverage AI for a better and shared future,” said MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal.

The summit, scheduled to run until February 20, 2026, is the first global AI summit hosted in the Global South.
