While GCCs remain a backbone of the Indian tech economy, they have moved toward precision hiring. The focus has shifted from headcount growth to securing specialized talent in niche domains such as Cybersecurity, Cloud Modernization, and Enterprise AI.

Data indicates a cooling of the job market in primary hubs like Bengaluru and Delhi-NCR, which saw a year-on-year drop of nearly 29%. Conversely, Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities recorded a 10% increase in hiring activity as companies seek to lower operational overhead.
