Rajasthan is currently witnessing an intense spell of heatwave conditions due to the ongoing Nautapa period, with temperatures rising sharply across several districts. In view of the extreme weather situation, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has issued an urgent appeal to the public, urging them to take necessary precautions to safeguard their health and well-being.
The Chief Minister emphasized that citizens must prioritize personal and family safety during this period of extreme heat and strictly follow health advisories issued by the administration and the health department.
Public Urged to Stay Hydrated and Avoid Heat Exposure
CM Bhajanlal Sharma advised people to consume adequate amounts of water and other fluids regularly to prevent dehydration and heat-related illnesses. He particularly stressed the need for extra care for children, elderly citizens, and individuals suffering from health conditions.
He also urged people to avoid stepping out during peak sunlight hours and to remain cautious against heatstroke risks by following all government-issued safety guidelines.

Call for Community Support and Compassion
Highlighting Rajasthan’s cultural values of service and compassion, the Chief Minister appealed to citizens to extend help to those in need during this difficult time.
He encouraged the establishment of public drinking water stalls (pyaau), shaded resting spaces, and arrangements for cold drinking water at public places to assist people affected by the heat.
Protection of Animals and Birds Also Emphasized
CM Bhajanlal Sharma also called upon citizens to ensure water and food arrangements for animals and birds, emphasizing that care for all living beings is a shared responsibility and a reflection of social compassion.
