Gold and silver prices fall across India. Check latest 22K & 24K gold rates in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and other major cities today.
Gold prices across India witnessed another decline, with major cities reporting lower rates for both 22-carat and 24-carat gold. The fall is mainly driven by a stronger US dollar and weakness in international bullion markets, which continue to pressure domestic prices.
Experts say that gold and silver rates are influenced by both global economic trends and domestic demand conditions, making prices highly volatile in the current scenario.
International Market Pressure Hits Gold Prices
In the global market, spot gold is trading around $4,058.10 per ounce, reflecting weak sentiment among investors. The strengthening dollar has reduced demand for safe-haven assets, further impacting bullion prices in India.

Expert View: Long-Term Outlook Still Positive
According to investment experts, the current weakness may be temporary. Swiss Asia Capital CIO Juerg Kiener believes that both gold and silver could reach new record highs in the long term.
He added that rising inflation risks in the future may increase demand for safe-haven assets like gold and silver, supporting prices over time.
