Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has called for collective efforts to fight addiction and make the state free from drugs. Addressing the ‘Dialogue Program with State NGOs and Chemist Associations’ in Panchkula, he emphasized that the goal of Drugs Free Haryana can only be achieved through the active participation of society.
Saini urged citizens to take a pledge to stay away from addiction, protect their families and work towards making villages, neighbourhoods and cities free from drugs.
CM Saini Says Drug Addiction Is a Social Challenge
During the programme, Nayab Singh Saini said that addiction is not only a law and order issue but also a matter connected with humanity and social well-being.
He highlighted that the fight against drugs requires cooperation between the government, NGOs, chemist associations and citizens. According to him, sustainable solutions can only be achieved when society works together.

Drugs Free Haryana Needs Public Participation
The Chief Minister stressed that the Drugs Free Haryana initiative is not limited to taking action against those involved in drug supply but also focuses on reducing the demand for drugs.
