Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to visit Mohammadabad in Ghazipur to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for 268 development projects worth nearly ₹692 crore. The visit is expected to give a significant boost to infrastructure and public welfare initiatives across all seven assembly constituencies of the district.
The Chief Minister will inaugurate 83 completed projects and lay the foundation stone for 185 new development works before addressing a large public meeting at the Mandi Samiti Ground in Mohammadabad.
Development Projects Across Seven Assembly Segments
According to the official programme, the inaugurated projects are valued at approximately ₹492.60 crore, while the foundation stone will be laid for projects worth around ₹199.15 crore.

The initiatives cover multiple assembly constituencies, including Mohammadabad, Jakhania, Sadar, Sevarai, Zamania, Ghazipur and Jangipur. The projects are aimed at improving infrastructure, civic amenities, road connectivity and other public facilities across the district.
Public Meeting and Review Session
Following the inauguration and foundation stone ceremony, CM Yogi Adityanath will address a public gathering, highlighting the state’s ongoing development agenda and welfare initiatives. He is also scheduled to hold a meeting with public representatives to review local development priorities.
High-Level Security Arrangements in Place
District authorities have made elaborate security arrangements ahead of the Chief Minister’s visit. Intensive checking and frisking have been ordered at the venue and along the designated travel routes. Officials have instructed all security personnel to maintain strict vigilance and ensure that the programme is conducted without any lapses.
Venue Prepared for Massive Gathering
The administration has completed extensive preparations at the Mandi Samiti campus to accommodate an estimated 50,000 people. A large German hangar tent has been installed, while roads inside the venue have been repaired and a dedicated route has been developed between the helipad and the event site.
To ensure public convenience, more than 500 sanitation workers were deployed for cleaning operations. Additional water tankers have been arranged from neighbouring districts, and mobile toilet facilities have also been installed for visitors.
Boost to Ghazipur’s Infrastructure
The new projects are expected to strengthen infrastructure and improve essential public services across Ghazipur. The government believes the investment will accelerate regional development and enhance the quality of life for residents by improving connectivity, civic infrastructure and other public amenities.
