AAP leader Praveen Ram raises Gujarat farmers’ fertiliser concerns, alleging nine-hour queues in Sanjeli and urging the government to ensure timely supply.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Gujarat leader and state president of the party’s Kisan Morcha, Praveen Ram, has raised concerns over the difficulties allegedly being faced by farmers in several parts of Gujarat, particularly over the availability of fertiliser.
In a video message, Ram claimed that farmers in different districts are dealing with multiple challenges amid uneven rainfall. He said that while several farmers are still unable to begin sowing due to inadequate rain, those who have already sown their crops are also facing difficulties because of the alleged shortage and distribution problems related to fertiliser.
Farmers Allegedly Waited Nine Hours in Sanjeli
Praveen Ram claimed that farmers in Sanjeli had to stand in a queue for nearly nine hours to obtain fertiliser. According to his allegation, a server-related problem disrupted the distribution process, leaving farmers unable to receive fertiliser even after spending several hours waiting.
Ram questioned the arrangements for fertiliser distribution and said farmers’ time should also be treated as valuable.

AAP Leader Questions Government Arrangements
The AAP Kisan Morcha president alleged that the existing system has failed to adequately address farmers’ difficulties. He called on the government to improve the distribution mechanism and ensure that fertiliser reaches farmers without unnecessary delays.
Ram also criticised what he described as repeated server-related disruptions and urged authorities to resolve technical problems instead of allowing farmers to remain in long queues.
Appeal to Gujarat Farmers
Taking a political stance, Praveen Ram appealed to farmers to remember their difficulties while making decisions in future elections. He said that political change would be necessary, in his view, to improve the situation and ensure timely access to agricultural inputs.
He claimed that farmers would continue to face difficulties unless the existing system was changed.
Demand for Timely Fertiliser Supply
Ram urged the Gujarat government to address the concerns of farmers in districts affected by inadequate rainfall and fertiliser distribution problems. He particularly called for steps to prevent farmers from spending several hours waiting for essential agricultural supplies.
The AAP leader said that ensuring timely access to fertiliser is important for farmers who have already begun cultivation and are dependent on proper agricultural inputs for their crops.
AAP Seeks Better Support for Farmers
The issue raised by Praveen Ram comes amid concerns over farming conditions in parts of Gujarat where rainfall has reportedly affected sowing activities. The AAP leader called for more efficient arrangements so that farmers can obtain fertiliser without prolonged waiting.
He appealed to the government to address the alleged server problems and strengthen the supply system, saying farmers should receive fertiliser on time and without unnecessary hardship.
