Arvind Kejriwal visited Shri Damodar Temple in Vasco during Bhajani Saptah and prayed for Goa’s peace, prosperity and well-being.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal visited the historic Shri Damodar Temple in Vasco, Goa, on Monday during the auspicious occasion of Shri Damodar Bhajani Saptah. He offered prayers and sought blessings for the progress, health and well-being of the people of Goa.
During his visit, Arvind Kejriwal prayed to Lord Damodar for the safety and prosperity of the state and its residents. He recalled the local belief that Lord Damodar protected Goa around 125 years ago and expressed hope that the deity would continue to protect the people of the state.
Kejriwal Prays for Goa’s Peace and Prosperity
Speaking during the visit, Arvind Kejriwal said that he had come to the temple to seek blessings for the people of Goa. He said the ongoing Bhajani Saptah attracts a large number of devotees to the temple and expressed his wish that the prayers and aspirations of everyone visiting the shrine are fulfilled.
He also raised concerns over the political and administrative situation in Goa, alleging that corruption remains a major concern and that many people are facing difficulties.
The visit was attended by AAP Goa in-charge Atishi and other senior leaders of the party’s Goa unit.
AAP Leaders Participate in Temple Prayers
AAP Goa in-charge Atishi also participated in the prayers at the historic Shri Damodar Temple along with Arvind Kejriwal and other party leaders.
She said prayers were offered for peace, happiness and prosperity in Goa and for the well-being of its people. The leaders’ visit came as devotees gathered at the temple for the traditional Shri Damodar Bhajani Saptah celebrations.

Kejriwal Talks About E20 Fuel Issue
During his interaction with the media, Arvind Kejriwal was also asked about the ongoing discussion surrounding E20 fuel.
He said the response from the public on the issue had been strong, claiming that thousands of people had contacted the party through WhatsApp and shared their views and concerns.
According to Arvind Kejriwal, a town hall on the E20 issue was scheduled for Tuesday at 3 pm. He said members of the public and the media had been invited to participate in the programme, where vehicle owners and other affected people would have an opportunity to explain their concerns regarding E20 fuel.
AAP Seeks Public Participation on E20
The proposed town hall is expected to provide a platform for people to share their experiences and concerns about E20 fuel. The party has been highlighting the issue in Goa and seeking greater public discussion around the impact of ethanol-blended fuel.
Arvind Kejriwal said people should have an opportunity to openly discuss the problems they are facing and put their concerns before the public and policymakers.
Religious Visit Combined With Public Outreach
The temple visit comes at a time when the AAP is stepping up its political activities in Goa. The party has sought to connect with people on issues ranging from governance and corruption to fuel-related concerns.
By visiting the Shri Damodar Temple during Bhajani Saptah, Arvind Kejriwal also participated in an important local religious occasion while praying for the welfare of Goa and its residents.
