Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal has announced a townhall in Goa to highlight concerns raised by vehicle owners over the use of E20 fuel. The event will be held on August 25 at 3 PM at Vivanta Miramar, providing Goans an opportunity to share their experiences and concerns.

The Forced E20 Fuel Townhall in Goa comes after a national townhall held in Delhi, where the campaign against the mandatory use of E20 fuel attracted the participation of around seven lakh Indians online. Vehicle owners from different parts of the country shared their experiences and concerns related to E20 fuel during the event.

AAP Raises E20 Fuel Concerns Across Goa

The Aam Aadmi Party has been raising concerns about E20 fuel in Goa for some time. Goa AAP President Valmiki Naik and other party leaders visited petrol pumps across the state and interacted with vehicle owners from areas stretching from Calangute to Canacona.

According to the party, vehicle owners reported several issues, including carburettor-related problems and reduced mileage. Students, private vehicle owners and bike taxi operators were among those who shared their concerns.

Arvind Kejriwal Highlights Impact on Goan Vehicle Owners

Earlier in August, Arvind Kejriwal said Goa has a higher-than-average level of vehicle ownership and claimed that the forced use of E20 fuel could affect 85-90% of Goans.

The Forced E20 Fuel Townhall in Goa is being positioned by AAP as a platform where affected vehicle owners can directly put forward their experiences and concerns.

Goa Townhall to Give Vehicle Owners a Platform

The August 25 event is expected to bring together vehicle owners and party representatives to discuss concerns surrounding E20 fuel. AAP has urged people affected by the issue to participate and raise their voices.
