Aman Arora launches Digi Punjab Portal with 300+ government services from 12 departments, with plans to add 800+ services within two months.
Punjab Good Governance and Information Technology Minister Aman Arora has launched the Digi Punjab Portal, a unified digital platform designed to bring multiple government services under one roof. The portal, available at Digi.Punjab.gov.in, currently offers more than 300 services from 12 government departments.
Launched at MGSIPA, the Digi Punjab Portal aims to make government services easier to access through a mobile-friendly digital system. Citizens can apply for various services online without making repeated visits to government offices.
300+ Government Services Available
The Digi Punjab Portal brings several important public services onto a single platform. These include birth and death certificates, marriage registration, arms licences, police verification and revenue-related certificates.
Citizens can also access caste certificates, pension-related services, property transfers and water connection services through the platform.
All 800+ Services to Be Added
Aman Arora said the Punjab government plans to bring more than 800 government services onto the Digi Punjab Portal within the next two months.
According to the minister, the system will also have fixed timelines for processing applications. If an application is delayed by an official beyond the prescribed timeline, the delay will be recorded, creating greater accountability in service delivery.

Real-Time Tracking and Digital Services
The Digi Punjab Portal has been designed to provide end-to-end digital services, allowing users to track their applications in real time. The initiative is aimed at reducing paperwork and limiting the need for citizens to repeatedly visit government departments.
Arora described the initiative as a shift from a system where citizens have to follow files and applications to one where government services reach citizens digitally.
Sewa Kendras and Doorstep Services to Continue
Despite the launch of the Digi Punjab Portal, existing service delivery channels will continue to support citizens. Services will remain available through Sewa Kendras as well as the 1076 doorstep delivery facility.
This means citizens who are unable or unwilling to use online services can continue accessing government facilities through these existing channels.
Punjab’s Growing Digital Governance Network
Aman Arora highlighted Punjab’s progress in digital service delivery, saying more than 2 crore QR-coded certificates have already been delivered to citizens through SMS and WhatsApp.
He also said more than 45,000 patwaris, sarpanches and councillors have used mobile phones to process over one crore applications.
Focus on Transparent Governance
The minister said good governance remains a key priority of the Punjab government. The new portal is intended to make public services more transparent, accessible and accountable.
With hundreds of services already available and plans to add the remaining government services soon, the Digi Punjab Portal could become a central platform for citizens seeking government services across Punjab.
