Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami offered prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi on Wednesday to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing 25 years in public life and public service.
The visit was held as part of programmes commemorating the Prime Minister’s long political journey, which began with his tenure as Gujarat Chief Minister before he went on to serve as the country’s Prime Minister.
Dhami Highlights Modi’s Political Journey
Addressing an event in Uttarkashi, Pushkar Singh Dhami said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s journey has been guided by a commitment to building a developed and self-reliant India.
Dhami said that under Modi’s leadership, India has continued to make progress across different sectors. He also highlighted the Uttarakhand government’s efforts to contribute to the broader vision of national development.
“Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is scaling new heights of development,” Dhami said, adding that the Uttarakhand government is working with determination to establish the state among the leading states in the country.

Focus on Welfare and Development
In a post on X, Pushkar Singh Dhami highlighted several areas that he said have received attention during Modi’s 25 years in public life.
According to Dhami, the Prime Minister’s public service journey has placed emphasis on the welfare of economically disadvantaged sections, women’s empowerment and opportunities for young people. He also pointed to modern infrastructure and the preservation of India’s cultural heritage as important areas of focus.

The prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi formed part of the commemorative activities marking the Prime Minister’s 25-year journey in public life.
