A grand “Tiranga Shaurya Samman Yatra” was organised up to Gandhi Park. The visit was dedicated to the historic victory of “Operation Sindoor,” successfully executed by the Indian Armed Forces recently. Thousands of civilians, ex-servicemen, youth and matriarchs participated in the padyatra with the tricolour. On the occasion, CM Pushkar also paid tributes to the martyrs by laying a wreath at the Shaurya Sthal. Saluting the brave soldiers, Air Force, Navy and all the security forces who took part in Operation Sindoor, CM Pushkar said that India has once again proved that it is fully capable of taking decisive action against terrorism.
The Chief Minister said that through Operation Sindoor, India not only displayed the bravery of its brave sons, but also gave a clear message to terrorism and its supporters that New India will now respond to every terrorist action in its own language. He lauded the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and said that today India is capable of giving a befitting reply to any terrorist challenge and now the country’s borders are being protected with state-of-the-art indigenous technology. CM Pushkar said that Uttarakhand is a brave land, where almost every family is associated with the service of the country. He called upon the youth of the state to take inspiration from the discipline, bravery and national service of the army and security forces.
