AAP’s Isudan Gadhvi reacts to Arvind Kejriwal acquittal, highlights BJP misuse of ED, and raises concerns over Gujarat law and order.
AAP State President Isudan Gadhvi reacted strongly after the court declared Delhi Chief Minister and AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal innocent in a case where the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had previously jailed him. Garhvi stated that the verdict validated Kejriwal’s honesty and proved that leaders emerging from anti-corruption movements can indeed be among the most honest in the country.
He alleged that the BJP misused the ED as a political tool to defame an honest leader. “When corruption and loot were widespread across the nation, Kejriwal chose the path of integrity and demonstrated that honest politics is possible,” said Isudan Gadhvi. He added that during Kejriwal’s first 49-day government in Delhi, critical steps were taken that led to AAP winning 67 out of 70 seats in the following election. Isudan Gadhvi also highlighted that free electricity, water, quality education, and healthcare services became possible in Delhi due to Kejriwal’s commitment to honest governance.

Isudan Gadhvi expressed gratitude to the judiciary, stating, “If justice had not prevailed, attempts to tarnish the character of honest leaders would have continued.” He also criticized BJP for using media trials and false cases to target Kejriwal, but said the court’s recent decision exposed this conspiracy and reaffirmed Kejriwal’s integrity.
Apart from Kejriwal’s acquittal, Isudan Gadhvi raised serious concerns regarding law and order in Gujarat. He pointed out that repeated bomb threat emails have been sent to schools, hospitals, malls, and even the High Court, yet no action has been taken against the perpetrators. Parents are fearful of sending their children to school, and the public is increasingly feeling unsafe.
Isudan Gadhvi criticized the state government, asking why action is taken against AAP leaders while real threats go unaddressed. “Farmers raising their voices are jailed, but criminals roam freely,” he added. He cited incidents of school violence and emphasized that children, women, and families live in fear under the current administration. Isudan Gadhvi warned that if the Chief Minister and Home Minister cannot maintain law and order, they must take moral responsibility and resign immediately.
He called upon citizens, social organizations, and authorities to unite and ensure justice and safety for the people of Gujarat.
