AAP MLA Chattar Vasava urges Gujarat government to ensure smooth arrangements for Devmogra Yaha Mogi Mataji Jatra, including safety measures, parking, health facilities, and CCTV monitoring.
AAP MLA from Dediyapada, Chaitar Vasava , has written a detailed letter to Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi, urging the government to ensure adequate arrangements during the traditional Devmogra Yaha Mogi Mataji Jatra in Sagbara Taluka, Narmada district.
In his letter, MLA Vasava highlighted that the jatra, celebrated annually on Chaitra Amavasya, attracts lakhs of devotees from Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and other states. The event is deeply rooted in the faith, tradition, and culture of the tribal community.
Vasava raised concerns over unnecessary harassment of pilgrims at police checkposts during the jatra and requested that such practices be immediately stopped. He also called for the State Transport Corporation to provide special bus services from various regions with proper publicity to facilitate smooth travel for devotees.

MLA Vasava urged the Home Minister and all relevant departments to provide strict instructions to ensure that millions of pilgrims can attend the fair without any inconvenience. He stressed that the government must play a sensitive and responsible role in managing this historic tribal event.
The Devmogra Jatra, with its centuries-old tradition, is not only a religious gathering but also a celebration of tribal heritage and community bonding, making proper planning and safety measures critical for its success.
