Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma’s Delhi visits explained by Union Minister CR Patil. Key development projects, water resources, and political responses highlighted.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma’s frequent visits to Delhi have often sparked political debates, with opposition leaders questioning the rationale behind these trips. Congress leaders, including Leader of Opposition Teekaram Jooli and Govind Dotasra, have repeatedly claimed that key decisions for Rajasthan are being made in Delhi.
Addressing these claims, Union Jal Shakti Minister CR Patil discussed the matter during a press briefing in Jaipur on February 7. The minister was speaking at the BJP office in Jaipur while elaborating on key provisions of the Union Budget 2026 and their impact on public welfare, farmer prosperity, youth opportunities, the empowerment of the middle class, and growth in trade and industry.
Prior to this, CM Bhajanlal Sharma and state BJP president Madan Rathore met with CR Patil at the CM residence, where the Chief Minister welcomed the Union Minister with a bouquet. During the discussion, CR Patil highlighted the importance of the CM’s Delhi visits for Rajasthan’s development projects.

CM’s Hard Work Will Bear Fruit – Patil
Patil emphasized, “Whenever CM Bhajanlal Sharma travels to Delhi, he always returns with initiatives and resources for Rajasthan’s development. In the near future, the state will have access to the maximum water resources. I have said this before — while Rajasthan has limited water now, I am confident it will soon have the highest. The CM’s hard work will undoubtedly yield results.”
CM Bhajanlal Sharma’s Earlier Response
The issue has been raised previously in the budget session. CM Bhajanlal Sharma had responded in the assembly, stating, “We visit Delhi to bring something back for Rajasthan. Congress leaders, on the other hand, go there just to lodge complaints.”
This ongoing dialogue highlights the proactive efforts of Rajasthan’s leadership to secure resources and ensure development while responding to political narratives and opposition criticism.
