Vasava further clarified that salary increases will be applied from April 1 based on seniority, ensuring that employees receive raises corresponding to their tenure. Additionally, long-serving workers will be considered for permanent positions during the upcoming Board of Directors meeting, with the first 50 employees already onboarded as permanent staff.
The MLA Chatar Vasava emphasized that no worker who participated in the strike will face any form of retaliation. “The company has assured that there will be no harassment of workers and no one will need to repeat such protests at the gate again. This resolution is a major success for labor rights,” Vasava added.
The settlement has been hailed as a model of cooperation between workers, political leaders, and management, showcasing how collective action can lead to positive outcomes. Workers, supporting leaders, law enforcement officials, and media representatives who covered the dharna were thanked for their efforts in facilitating the peaceful resolution.
