AAP (Aam Aadmi Party)
Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) unveiled the “Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se” (Respond to the jail with your vote) theme on Monday, urging the people to oppose the BJP dictatorship and to vote for Arvind Kejriwal. The party staged a protest of a daylong fast to show support for their leader, Arvind Kejriwal, the day before the announcement.
AAP MP Sandeep Pathak stated during a press conference on Monday, “As you all saw, Kejriwal ji was put in jail to keep him away from the polls. Kejriwal ji fought for the people all of his life. He arranged for everyone in Delhi to have access to the greatest healthcare, education, power, and water since he saw everyone as his family.”
“A sitting chief minister has never before been arrested in connection with the Lok Sabha elections. We are launching the campaign ‘Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se’ (Respond to the jail with your vote) and we want you to empower Kejriwal,” announced AAP leader Sandeep Pathak, who along with party senior leader Sanjay Singh, Gopal Rai and Pankaj Gupta, launched the party’s campaign. AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, also appealed to the people to recall Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s face when they go to vote. He remarked “Whenever you go out to cast your votes, remember to look at Arvind Kejriwal’s face.
SAURABH BHARDWAJ: THE LARGEST POLITICAL CONSPIRACY IN THE EXCISE POLICY CASE
Examine the electricity bill, which has been lowered to nothing. Look at the faces of your children—who used to attend a run-down school but are now studying in air-conditioned classrooms—at the Mohalla clinic, which offers free medications and tests for all treatments and tests; at the faces of your daughters and sisters, who ride the bus safely and for free; and at the faces of your elderly relatives, for whom Kejriwal fulfilled their dreams of a “Teerth Yatra” and served as their Shravan Kumar. You should also recall the “Farishtey Scheme” that he devised. Before you head out on May 25 to cast your ballot, remember all of these things,” he stated.
A month has passed since the party’s national Lok Sabha campaign, “Sansad Me Bhi Kejriwal, Toh Delhi Hogi Aur Khushhal,” was introduced on March 8 by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal (If Kejriwal is in Parliament too, the city will be more fulfilled).
