Applications for auditions are being accepted by the Haryana Department of Art and Cultural Affairs for a one-day and a twelve-day workshop.

Applications are being accepted for auditions for workshops and programs in classical dance, Kathak, and Bharatanatyam by the Department of Art and Cultural Affairs.

Last date to apply is July 15

The Haryana Department of Art and Cultural Affairs is holding auditions for a one-day program and a 12-day course focused on Kathak, Bharatanatyam, and classical dance. Applications are being accepted. The application deadline is July 15, 2024.

A government representative provided information in this respect, stating that only young and emerging artists from Haryana between the ages of 15 and 35 are eligible to take part. Prospective applicants may submit their application materials to artandculturalaffairshrv@gmail.com by email.

According to the spokeswoman, there will be no reimbursement for travel expenses or day expenses incurred when attending Bharatanatyam or classical Kathak dancing auditions. Name, art form, age, birthdate, place (district), father’s name, phone number, and email address must all be included on the application. The original documents (Aadhaar card, bank passbook page one, cancelled check, PAN card, passport-size photo) and duplicates of them must be brought by the applicant. The final program will only include artists who were chosen during the audition process. The committee will make the final decision.
